The Jagriti Yatra aims to showcase inspiring success stories by taking young Indians to meet these “real heroes”. We propose to engage the national media to act as a multiplier of this message by projecting it to the millions of Indians who will watch this journey unfold across the country, and become an annual event. Problem Statement
A mechanically controlled robot capable of traveling on varied surfaces.
The arena will require the bot to move around different land forms and terrains, including water surfaces. The bot will also have to travel over a narrow bridge on a rotating table.

Skyhook

Task:
Make a robot that can lift weights and move over a field of obstacles and then place the weights on a platform. It should collect as many weights as possible, and put them into a groove in the platform, so as to collect maximum points in a specified amount of time.

Yokozuna

Problem Statement
The contest involves two autonomous robots competing in the sumo ring (Dohyo) according to the game rules presented here. The individual contest continues until two Yuko points are scored by one of the contestants. The overall contest is structured using a double elimination tournament format, where each robot must loose two matches to be eliminated from the
tournament.

Make an autonoums robot which goes from one corner of the grid to the other , while the manual bot lifts the blocks and assists the autnoums bot in going from the startng point to the end .

(1)BADGE OF HONOUR:(Manual competetion)

Make a Manual Robot capable of moving blocks and negotiating sloping surfaces and a simple maze.

(2)DEEP PURPLE:(Aqua bot manual)

Design and build a machine that can move in water in all 3 dimensions in a tank and can rupture balloons tied to the bottom of the arena using threads of different lengths.

(3)RGB:(Image Processing)
The arena is an 8x8 chessboard. The squares on this "chessboard" are colored, and each color will be assigned a cost. The robot has to go from the starting to the ending square, while incurring the minimum possible total loss. The starting and ending squares will be at diagonally opposite corners of the arena.

During a run, we will provide each team with a computer and a webcam mounted vertically above the arena. The robot would have to run with the computer's guidance. Once the program is started on the computer, no human intervention will be allowed till a timeout is called (The rules for timeout are elaborated in Scoring Rules)

(4)HOUDINI ACT:(Autonoums)

To collect the secret codes in the enemy territory and avoid any collisions with the obstacles.

(5)FLIGHT 101:(Airborne)

Design and build a remote controlled airplane that will remain airborne for maximum possible time and is capable of performing manoeuvres in air.

(6)YACHT-O-TRONIX:(Aqua Bot)

To make a Yacht which can propel and manoveur in the water filled arena with the help of Wind Energy.
